Cedar Street Studio offers a variety of fun, inspiring classes including Pilates, yoga, ballet, tap, jazz, Zumba, barre fitness, and more! Our goal is to combine high quality instruction in fitness, mindfulness, and the art of dance to motivate participants to find joy in the present moment. “You’re only one class away from a good mood!”.

At Cedar Street Dance Studio we believe that dance is the hidden language of the soul. Judith Jamison once said “If you look at a dancer in silence, his or her body will be the music. If you turn the music on, that body will become an extension of what you’re hearing.” Cedar Street Studio is home to Cedar Street Dance Company where our aim is to provide a well-rounded dance education to students of all ages. Dancers participate in weekly classes where they learn ballet, tap, and jazz as well as other dance concepts including lyrical, contemporary dance, modern, improvisation, choreography. The heart and soul of our program is ballet where dance etiquette is emphasized. Dancers also rehearse for several performances each year including our annual Nutcracker, a Rawlins Christmas tradition. We work to provide unique opportunities for our students to encourage growth and exposure including performances, workshops, conventions, and other specialty events. Our mission is to not only enrich the lives of our students but also our community through the art of dance. We are proud to offer several shows for our community’s enjoyment each year. Our dance program is recreational based, and we encourage beginners to enroll. It brings us so much satisfaction to watch our students blossom not only as dancers and performers, but as people and artists.
